Delivery! A courier drops by Chopper's residence (or wherever he has instructed Emet-Selch to leave packages) with a very large box. Nestled amidst cotton stuffing, Chopper will find a set of seven ceramic eggs done in varying hues of natural egg colours, each one flecked with a different colour of the rainbow so they can be differentiated.
Red: A walking mushroom. Besides its basic walking animation, it also occasionally retracts its arms and legs and poses as a regular mushroom for a few seconds.
Orange: A walking willow tree, with delicate fronds of copper leaves - it's the only fully metal mammet of the set; he realised ceramic was not suitable for its construction. The idea being that over time the copper leaves will turn green whilst the steel would slowly develop a patina and resemble aged bark.
Yellow: A goobbue covered in lots of small, yellow flowers. The flowers are part of the ceramic backplate and can't be taken off, but the goobbue has one of the flowers attached to its hand which it occasionally will hold out to people. It is recognisable as St John's Wort.
Green: A morbol seedling which thankfully does not belch putrid breath. Instead it emits puffs of (harmless) dark green smoke.
Blue: An aurelia polyp (aka. a jellyfish). It floats serenely through the air, tentacles mimicking a propulsion movement as it does so. (On Etheirys, jellyfish are a component of basic medicinal potions.)
Indigo: A shark which inexplicably has legs. Might also chomp your fingers if you're not careful. It likes to burrow under cover (like piles of leaves or blankets etc.) with only the fin sticking out and then burst out to surprise people.
Violet: A mandragora which toddles around and occasionally emits a shrill shriek. Emet-Selch has an accompanying note for this one explaining that one can turn off the shrieking with a separate switch on the back.
Due to the quantity and turnover time, these mammets are only about as wide as a splayed-out hand and not much taller. Instructions are included for Chopper on how to activate the mammets and how to recharge the crystal cores if they deplete. The opening hatch for each one varies but essentially one need only funnel magic into the crystal to replenish it.
(And if anything breaks, they are free to take them back to the Adamantine Forge for repairs. Although only Emet-Selch himself can fix or create new crystal cores due to the nature of the enchantment used.)
